In order to avoid any confusion, I'd like you to know that this is my TEACHING WEBSITE. It is currently being used
by my students. Also, much of its content has been left online at the request of colleagues from other universities,
who also use this website as a resource for their students...
Images are often selected on the basis of student
inquiry. Therefor the inclusion of images of my work is more a candid look into my studio practice than an efficiently branded
commercial display (the closest thing I have to that can be found at the following link: http://www.grossmccleaf.com/artistpages/FRCnoble.htm ).
Also, the inclusion of my work should not be seen as a call to imitate it by my students. Rather I see it more as
a confession of what I work on away from the classroom. This will, I hope, help expose my interests and sensibilities so that
they can be reasonably accounted for within the critical dialog of the classroom.
Sooo... this is not a personal self-promo site for myself as an artist... nor
is it edited for the purposes of any specific application for employment or promotion. So feel free to look around but
please use discretion if you arrived here for either of those or other purposes.
